Dear Club Members,
As you know, the Federation of Arms Collectors and Target Shooters (FACTS) is gearing up with the AFM for the second AFM/FACTS Marksmen Competition an event that will span over four days, from November 23rd to November 26th, 2023.
To ensure the smooth and successful execution of this event, we are reaching out to you once again for your invaluable support.
We are looking for volunteers who can assist in various capacities during the competition. Your participation in the March event was key to the success of that event and with your assistance we can replicate that success.
Here are the key volunteer roles we are seeking assistance with:
- Range Conducting Officers: Responsible for overseeing the shooting range, ensuring safety, and providing guidance to participants.
- Safety Staff: Ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to, and responding to any safety concerns during the event.
- Administration Staff: Assisting with administrative tasks, including registration, paperwork, and coordination of the event schedule.
- General Help: Providing support with tasks such as assisting participants, changing targets, and keeping score.
Your time and expertise, even for a few hours during the event, can make a significant difference. Whether you are experienced in target shooting or have no prior experience, your dedication and willingness to help are what truly matter.
