Dear member, For the past couple of years the police have waived the requirement of two registered shoots in order to renew the Target Shooter A special License due to the pandemic. This year this is no longer the case and in order to be able to renew this license, you will need to show proof of two registered shoots
On the 17th of September we held our first Steel Challenge training event after a long pause. The day proved to be cooler than the shoot before and we had a good turnout of shooters participating in several SCSA divisions. These were: Pistol Iron Sights (IS) Open (pistol with optics and/or compensators and/or barrel ports) Pistol Carbine Rifle Open (PCRO)
While our last shooting event was held on the 10th of September 2022 was a regular shooting day, our next event is something that we haven’t done in a while. Get ready for the return of STEEL CHALLENGE! Steel challenge is one of the most popular practical disciplines in the world. Five strings of five targets each against the clock.
Once again, we have been challenged to a shooting competition by our Sicilian colleagues – Sniper Club in Pedalino, Sicily. This was the 2nd BR tournament held at the Pedalino 300m range in Sicily, on the weekend of 14th and 15th of May 2022. We had a great challenge in front of us as we had 8 of their best
Regardless the weather, we had another nice practical shooting day. Range wasn’t too busy, so there was no need to wait in the queue. Everyone had enough time to adjust their gear, share some advice and spend some quality time – best way to prepare for the upcoming Steel Challenge next weekend (17th Sep).
